Ask
Q&A
What should I send when making a booking inquiry?
Please send your design idea, placement, approximate size, color preference, and any reference images if you have them. It is completely okay if you do not have an exact design yet. Based on your preferred mood or meaning, I will help shape the design direction in Jelly’s style.
Can I bring another image or tattoo design as a reference?
Yes, you can send reference images. However, I do not copy another tattoo artist’s work or an existing image exactly. References are used to understand the mood and direction, and the final design will be reworked to suit your skin.
When can I see the design?
The design is usually shown before the appointment or on the appointment day. On the day, we will place the stencil on your skin and check the size and placement together. Small adjustments are possible, but major changes to the overall concept may require an additional fee or rescheduling.
Can we adjust the placement or size on the day?
Yes, we can. After placing the stencil, we can adjust the placement and size while checking the body line and design flow. Because a tattoo stays on your skin for a long time, we will check everything carefully before starting.
How is the price decided?
Tattoo pricing depends on size, detail, number of colors, placement, and estimated working time. For an accurate quote, please send your design idea, placement, size, and whether you want color through the Google form.
Is a deposit required?
Yes, a deposit is required to secure your appointment. The deposit will be deducted from the total price. The deposit is non-refundable, as it covers design preparation and reserved appointment time, but rescheduling is possible.
How should I prepare before my appointment?
Please rest well the night before and make sure to eat before your appointment. Please avoid heavy drinking the night before. Being in good condition can help with pain tolerance and reduce dizziness or fatigue during the session.
What should I wear?
Please wear clothing that allows easy access to the area being tattooed. I recommend avoiding light-colored or precious clothing, as ink may stain it.
Does it hurt a lot?
Pain levels can vary depending on placement, size, detail, and your condition on the day. Most first-time clients can complete the session comfortably, and we can take breaks if needed.
Do color or pastel tattoos last well?
Color and pastel tattoos can last differently depending on skin tone, placement, aftercare, and sun exposure. I will recommend colors and sizing that are suitable for your skin and long-term healed results :)
Is UV ink available?
UV details can be added depending on the design. UV ink can appear and heal differently from regular color ink, so I will guide you during consultation on whether it suits your design.
How do I take care of my tattoo after the appointment?
After your session, I will explain the aftercare instructions in detail. It is important to follow the instructions for washing, moisturizing, second skin, exercise, swimming, and sauna. The healed result depends not only on the tattooing process, but also on proper aftercare.
How long should I keep the second skin on?
If the second skin is sealed well and not leaking or lifting, it can usually stay on for around 3–5 days. A small amount of plasma or ink collecting under the film can be a normal part of the healing process. However, if fluid leaks out, the film lifts, or water gets inside, it may need to be removed or replaced.
When can I shower, exercise, or swim after getting tattooed?
Showering is okay, but please avoid soaking the tattoo or rubbing it harshly. Exercise should be resumed carefully depending on friction, sweating, and swelling around the tattooed area. I recommend avoiding pools, the ocean, and saunas for at least 4 weeks.
What is normal during healing?
During healing, mild redness, dryness, thin scabbing, itchiness, and temporary dullness in color can happen. The color may temporarily look darker, or the skin may feel dry like a thin layer during the healing process. If you notice severe pain, heat, pus, bad smell, or spreading redness, please contact me and seek medical advice from a healthcare professional.
Is a touch-up included?
After the tattoo is fully healed, a touch-up can be arranged if needed. Healed results can vary depending on skin condition, placement, lifestyle, and aftercare. Areas with more friction or movement, such as fingers, hands, feet, and joints, may fade more easily. If you think you need a touch-up, please send a healed photo so I can check the condition and guide you.
What if I have sensitive skin or allergies?
Please let me know before booking if you have any skin conditions, allergies, keloid tendency, or medication you are taking. If you have any health-related concerns, I recommend consulting a healthcare professional before getting tattooed.
What if I need to reschedule or cancel?
If you need to reschedule, please contact me as soon as possible. For last-minute cancellations or no-shows, the deposit is non-refundable. If you are unwell or your skin condition is not suitable, it is better to contact me in advance and reschedule rather than force the session. Life is full of unpredictable variables, so I completely understand these situations. However, I would appreciate it if we could proceed by communicating in advance and adjusting the schedule based on mutual trust.
